Carry Less Cash
While paying with cash is generally a better idea than using credit cards, cash spends just as easily!

Try to carry just enough cash as you need, and keep ATM withdrawls to a minimum.

Pay More Than The Minimum Amount Due
When making your credit card payments, try to pay more than the Minimum Amount Due. Out of this amount, a majority of it is used to pay the interest on your balance!

Usually anything paid above your Minimum Amount Due will go towards your balance, which is what you need to pay off in order to lower your balance.
